Tsilivi is a very popular family resort, with gently sloping child-friendly beaches protected from strong winds by Cape Gaidaros. In hot weather northerly breezes make it a cooler place to be.

There are many choices available for accommodation, with a wide range of hotels, studios and apartments. Many of the hotels are situated on the mile long sandy beach, with others slightly further inland in the main town of Tsilivi. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the main resort and also along the waterfront, offering a choice of traditional Greek cuisine, Indian, Chinese, Italian as well as Fish and Chips.       

Evening entertainment is pretty lively and very popular among the guests and includes live bands, quiz nights and karaoke. Tsilivi offers the usual array of gift and souvenir shops, jewelers, clothes and beach wear shops.
