Zakynthos, also known by its Italian name Zante, is the southernmost of the seven Ioanian islands that lie off the western coast of mainland Greece. You can also travel by ferry boat from Kyllini, which is 60 km from Patras. Ferries from Kyllini pull in at the long jetty at the southern end of the harbor, where the port authority can also be found.
